Open an event and configure alerts in its settings. You can choose optional reminders at days, hours, or minutes before the event, and pick distinct alert sounds where the app offers them.

What are collections?

Collections let you group related countdowns—such as work deadlines, family birthdays, or travel—so you can organise events the way you think about them.

Can I see events that have already passed?

Yes. Use filters to show upcoming or past events, and browse the list or calendar to review what’s already happened.

How do list view and calendar view differ?

List view is ideal for scanning all countdowns at a glance. Calendar view shows a monthly layout so you can focus on what falls on a particular day.

Can I change which time units appear in a countdown?

Yes. Live countdowns support flexible time units from years down to seconds—you choose what to display for each event.

Does MyCountdowns need the internet?

Core countdown and calendar features are designed to work on your device. If you use features that rely on online services in a future update, those will be described in the app.
