All data you create in Marama — including your region selection, preferred beach, Matariki reflection notes, and settings — is stored only on your device. We do not transmit, collect, or store any of this data on our servers or with third parties.

No Personal Data Collection

Marama does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not use analytics, advertising, or any tracking. Your Matariki notes and preferences remain private on your device.

Weather and Tide Data

When you request weather forecasts or tide times, Marama fetches this data from third-party services (Open-Meteo for weather, World Tides for tides). Your location or region choice is sent only to those services to provide the information you need. We do not store or share this data.
